J. Todd Bennett

Managing Director, Consulting Services

Skilled in building teams and relationships, Todd's expertise includes marketing strategy, strategic planning, market research and testing, web usability, information architecture and branding. He pioneered the concept of eManagement at the University of Miami to create a structure of seamless communications from prospective student audiences to alumni. By assembling a team across office and divisional lines in "enrollment management" style, Todd effected a cultural change, shifting the focus from internal politics and structure to audience and message.

Todd began his career in banking where he managed operations, business development, lending and brokerage sales for one of the nation's largest banks. He has also logged a decade of higher education experience in student affairs, enrollment management, continuing / adult education and marketing at both traditional and proprietary educational institutions. Local and national media have cited Todd's views on electronic communications and marketing to prospective college students; conferences and workshops have sought his presentations. He has served in numerous professional leadership positions, most recently as president-elect of the Florida Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (FACRAO).

He also has led major projects ranging from total university website redesigns and implementations of portals, knowledge bases, course management tools and eCRM platforms to the design of classroom and space use models, academic course catalogs and online course curriculum.

Todd earned a BS from Stetson University and an MS.Ed. and Post Graduate Certificate in Enrollment Management from the University of Miami, where he has also begun work on a PhD in Communication.
